He will play the role of the manager in this project.

Robert Zajíček

Robert Zajíček

Head of the Department of Burn Medicine FNKV and 3.LF UK. In the project, he coordinates the clinical part and the connection of VR in practice in the treatment of burn patients. In the role of a professional guarantor, he is responsible for selecting suitable patients for inclusion in the study and participates in the main outputs. He has extensive experience in the treatment of thermal injuries in all age categories. The department participates in a number of specialized research activities.

He works as a psychologist at the Faculty Hospital in Královské Vinohrady in Prague, where, in addition to counseling psychological work, he mainly cares for patients of the Department of Burn Medicine. He is also involved in a number of trauma-related research projects. In private practice he specializes in psychotherapy of adults, children, couple and family therapy and holistic medicine. Within the project, he is responsible for coordinating data collection directly at the burn medicine clinic and is a professional supervisor in the field of pain treatment.

Chief physician of the adult standard department of Burn Medicine Clinic, Faculty Hospital Královské Vinohrady. Graduate of the 1st Faculty of Medicine, Charles University, general medicine. The 1st attestation of surgery, specialization in surgery, attestation in burn medicine. Experience 15 years surgical clinic FNKV, 7 years Department of Burn Medicine FNKV. In the role of a professional guarantor, he participates in the selection of patients to be included in the study and the transfer of information about the project.

Nurse, 26 years of experience in the Burn Clinic, inpatient department for adult patients. Currently several years involved in wound care and dressing. Responsible for the practical part of VR, documentation and data collection directly from the patient in the project.

Has completed a number of successfully implemented projects for creating applications for virtual reality in various fields, including healthcare; in the project he will be responsible for the development, implementation and technical support of VR applications for pain management.

Assistant professor, cyberpsychologist, therapist, who uses virtual reality not only in research but also in his long-term practice. He has gained research experience including statistical data processing through participation in a number of research, development and application projects. He has also worked as a postdoc at the Faculty of Psychology in Lisbon. At Palacký University, he runs a virtual reality lab; in the project he will be responsible for the alignment of virtual reality and its impact on the psyche of patients.

He is a statistician and a psychometrician with many years of experience in research data processing. His responsibility is to find ways to validly measure mental phenomena of patients. And most importantly, designing a statistical model that can extract the maximum amount of true and unbiased knowledge from the collected data.
